The Fit Arena in Châteauroux: A connected and autonomous sports complex

SMC2 has developed the Fit Arena in Châteauroux, an innovative sports space that combines high-quality infrastructure with digital technologies to enable autonomous and immersive sports experiences.

This unique concept is based on a comfortable, bright, and modular building, allowing athletes to train in an optimized environment. Thanks to modern architecture incorporating a glued laminated timber and steel structure along with a textile membrane roof, the Fit Arena offers pleasant natural lighting while maintaining a low energy footprint.

The integrated digital system is a major asset of this facility. The sports equipment is motorized and automated, adapting to the various disciplines practiced in order to provide a smooth and intuitive experience.

What sets the Fit Arena apart is its digital booking and access system. Users can book their sessions online and then access the sports space entirely independently. Meanwhile, the operator can optimize the use of the various sports areas by creating multiple time slots tailored to different audiences (organizations, the general public, etc.). This smart management reduces administrative workload and ensures efficient flow management, thereby maximizing the use of the facility.

Thanks to its intelligent scheduling and access management system, this connected sports hall guarantees seamless organization and total autonomy for both athletes and managers.

Natural ventilation, combined with high-performance LED lighting, provides optimal comfort throughout the year, regardless of external weather conditions. The Fit Arena in Châteauroux is therefore designed to offer an immersive, flexible, and accessible sports experience for all.
