Construction of a beach hall at the Croissy-sur-Seine sports park.
The structure is made of wood and steel, covered with a stretched canvas, in keeping with the neighboring gymnasium (also built by SMC2). The retractable facades are made of microperforated fabric, allowing the installation of removable bleachers.
The sports hall is designed to host official competitions and local sports associations for sand sports such as beach volleyball, handball, sand wrestling…
With a view to reducing energy consumption, the sports hall is not heated, and all the building’s lighting will be provided by LEDs rather than conventional lighting, with energy savings of 40%.
